Come adventure with us as we learn to surf, SUP and explore stunning coastal landscape around Margaret River.  This mind cleansing journey will allow each participant the opportunity to experience and explore how movement/exercise can be a powerful coping strategy in the journey through life.

The Surf, SUP, Hike and Glamping Experience:

Stunning and wild coastal landscapes, physical challenge, new friendships and gourmet evening meals await you. Our professional, local team have extensive knowledge and experience interpreting the natural beauty of the region. Take your Margaret River experience to another level by enjoying the good cooking and comforts of CCET’s amazing base camp.

Inclusions: Four mornings of professional surf lessons at stunning Redgate Beach in the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park, one afternoons of hiking on the Cape to Cape Track, Three afternoon sessions SUPing sheltered waterways, one local gourmet vineyard visits and wine tasting, all meals and accomodation. 

Accommodation: Fully catered glamping or rooms at Surf Point Resort including own glamping tent / room with queen size bed, hot showers (shared facilities), delicious meals.

This epic learn to surf adventure will be led by the amazing Kylianne Farrell, a personal trainer, ecotherapist and counsellor. She believes in creating new opportunities for people to explore movement to benefit their physical and mental wellbeing. She is the founder of Move For Mental Health an initiative that raises awareness for the power of movement and nature as protective strategies for mental wellbeing and to reduce the symptoms of mental illness.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Saturday 20th February: Arrive in Margaret River and make your way to SurfPoint Resort

Arrive at SurfPoint Resort, settle in, take a long hot shower, relax, and enjoy a beautiful meal together.

Day 2 Sunday 21st February: Surf at Redgate in the morning, SUP in the afternoon - 14.75km

Begin your morning with a healthy breakfast, and then head out to the beautiful Redgate Beach for your first surfing session starting at 8am.

Arrive back at SurfPoint Resort for an early lunch and swim in the pool before heading out to SUP your afternoon away.

Enjoy dinner at SurfPoint Resort tonight.

Day 3 Monday 22nd February: Surf at Redgate, Yoga session, Cape Grace Vineyard and sunset dinner

Begin your morning with a healthy breakfast, and then head out to the beautiful Redgate Beach for your second surfing session starting at 8am.

Arrive back at SurfPoint Resort for lunch and swim in the pool and then enjoy a leisurely afternoon SUP session. 

Visit Cape Grace vineyard this afternoon, and enjoy a local nibbles plate and wine tasting at one of the regions most awarded small local producers.

Cape Grace has been previously included in one of James Halliday’s   “Ten of the Best New Wineries” listings and is currently rated a 5 Star Winery in James Halliday’s 2017 edition of the Wine Companion, with out Reserve 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon receiving 97 points. Total production is limited to 1500 – 2200 dozen cases depending on the season, and the wines are sold primarily via the Cellar Door and mail order.

After Cape Grace head to nearby Gnarabup Beach for a swim and then dinner as the sun sets at SurfPoint Resort.

Day 4 Tuesday 23rd February: Surf at Redgate in the morning, hike Ellensbrook to Prevelly in the afternoon - 14.75km

Begin your morning with a healthy breakfast, and then head out to the beautiful Redgate Beach for your third surfing session starting at 8am.

Arrive back at SurfPoint Resort for an early lunch and swim in the pool before heading back to Eleensbrook Beach to start your afternoon hike.

Start the afternoon hike at the historic settlement of Ellensbrook. From Ellensbrook, the Track quickly leaves thecoast and meanders through sand dunes and past Ellensbrook homestead and Meekadarbee Falls. Visit the isolated coves of Gnoocardup and torquoise bay of Kilcarnup, what a spot for a swim and snorkel. Marvel at the centuries-old osprey nest in Horseshoe Bay then hike along the stunning Margaret River Coastline and into accomodation.

Enjoy dinner at SurfPoint Resort tonight.

Day 5 Wednesday 24th February: Surf at Redgate Beach in the morning and head to Chapman Pool for an amazing SUP experience.

Begin your morning with a healthy breakfast, and then head out to the beautiful Redgate Beach for your final surfing session starting at 8am, you should be ripping by now:)!

Arrive back at SurfPoint Resort for a shower and get ready to head out to Chapman Pool for an amazing SUP session on the Blackwood.. 

Return to SurfPoint, take a gorgeous afternoon stroll to The Common for dinner (clients expense).

Day 6 Thursday 25th February: Departure Day

Enjoy a healthy breakfast, and then pack up, say goodbye and check out of SurfPoint by 10am.

Package Includes:

  • 4 x mornings learn to surf session, with full support: expert local surf guides with all equipment. All are fully qualified and carry first aid and communications equipment.
  • 1 x Cape to Cape hike
  • 3 x SUP sessions with equipment
  • 5 x nights fully catered glamping accommodation in our high quality tents with full queen beds.
  • All catering with a focus on fresh and healthy food, using local produce and exploring the foodie delights of the region:
  • 5 x fresh breakfasts.
  • 4 x gourmet packed lunches, including snacks 
  • 5 x evening meals; the final night’s celebration dinner at a local restaurant is not included.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not included, but opportunities will be provided for you to visit local wineries and purchase beverages of your choice.
  • All planning, logistical, administrative and on-ground support, including intimate knowledge of weather patterns and surf conditions.
